Items we store
| Name | Type | Purpose | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|---|
| ok_sid | Cookie (first-party, essential) | Keeps you signed in and protects forms from forgery. It is set only when you sign in or open a page with a form (contact, sign in, sign up, forgot password). | Until you close the browser |
| ok_age | Local storage | Remembers that you confirmed you are 18 or older in this browser. | Until you clear site data |
| ok_notice | Local storage | Remembers that you dismissed the cookie notice. | Until you clear site data |
| ok_under | Session storage | Remembers that you said you are under 18, so the age check stays closed in that tab. | Until the tab is closed |
| ok_start | Session storage | Notes when your visit started, for the timer and the hourly reminder. | Until the tab is closed |
The site needs these items to work as described, so there’s no switch to turn them off and the banner is only a notice. You can clear them in your browser settings at any time, and you’ll simply be asked your age again.
